This weeks question is:
Q: Unfortunately, after three children I now have a bit of a belly and have so much difficulty in finding the right dress to hide this issue. I am about a US size 8 and would like to know what you recommend to flatter my size and conceal the middle area a little. Any tips?
A: My solution - a wrap or faux wrap dress or one with a lot of drapes in all the right places!
I think the best place to begin, is ensuring you have the correct undergarment. This will help smooth out any lumps and bumps and have you feeling a lot more confident before you even pop on a dress! Please see my recent Q & A post on undergarments: http://www.stylefleur.com/bitsandbobs/2015/1/29/style-fleur-q-a?rq=spanx
A dress that wraps around your middle area or is cut with plenty of fabric around the tummy, is definitely going to be the best option. These type of dresses accentuate the smallest part of the waist and also drape in the right places, concealing your stomach. Also don't be afraid of pattern, which is also a great way to hide any of the areas we are not so fond of!
